Back the Rangers. Beat the Snares.

Back the Rangers. Beat the Snares.
Why We Should Cut the Snare Loose
Snares are silent killers, but they’re a threat we can stop. Last year alone, our rangers removed more than 34,000 of these illegal traps from 23 protected areas managed by African Parks.
Each one cleared gives wildlife a better chance of survival and with your support, we can remove even more. Every dollar raised helps rangers cover more ground and save more wild lives.

How is African Parks Tackling Snares?
Across the continent, African Parks trains and supports dedicated ranger teams who carry out thousands of patrols each year. With a mix of local knowledge, community collaboration, real-time data and relentless fieldwork, they’re finding and removing snares, disrupting poaching networks, and making protected areas safer for wildlife to thrive.
