SAID’s mission focuses on delivering exceptional service with foresight. Our mission is to provide professional veterinary care and animal care education in indigent communities through our strategic objective of transformation, the incorporation of our social entrepreneurship incubation model, pre and post graduate training and mentorship, skills development and the widening of employment scope and opportunities for black owned enterprises.

The single largest professional welfare veterinary care provider in South Africa, annually providing treatments to domestic animals from indigent communities.

Established in 1958, we are built on a foundation of solution driven, focused animal care education.

Our operational methods are geared towards sustainability , which is illustrated by our commitment to skills development, youth upliftment, increasing the scope for graduates in para-veterinary disciplines, social, economic and enterprise development and business incubation.

We are a registered PBO and are able to issue Section 18A tax certificates for donations.
