DARG is a Welfare Adoption Centre situated in Hout Bay, Cape Town.  It is a Pro-Life Organisation that supports the rescue, care and rehabilitation of neglected, abandoned and abused domestic animals.

Whilst adoption is the primary focus of the Organisation, it also provides basic medical care and support for animals in the surrounding lower income communities.

DARG is not subject to Government Grants and therefore relies solely on donations from the general public.  DARG has approximately 300 animals in its care in the shelter environment. 

DARG is not only reliant on the public for the majority of its funding, but also the selfless generosity of its volunteers to provide daily general assistance to the shelter.
